Im a US citizen, i been living in this country for 9 years, I paid the AOS already but when i try to pay de IV fee is showing me nothing to pay. Im trying to submit the AOS Documents but it shows N/A,

Maybe because im a citizen and my son is 7 years old. i don't have to pay nor fill the AOS documents.

Someone can help me with this. Im just trying to immigrate my son, not his mother.

i also read that i don't have to submit an AOS since my son is 8 and when he comes to the US, he will become a citizen.

• Are the child of a U.S. citizen and if admitted for permanent residence on or after February 27, 2001, would automatically acquire citizenship under Section 320 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, as amended by the Child Citizenship Act of 2000

THE IV application is also showing N/A

No need to do all that if he is a natural citizen by birth.

Hi,

Previous poster: If the child is being petitioned as an immigrant is because he wasn't a citizen at birth and the father became a citizen after the child was born.

OP: You still have to pay the AOS fee for the child. The fee is $120. You don't need to submit an I-864 or submit financial evidence, but you must submit form I-864W.

You also still have to pay the IV fee of $325 and submit the DS260 and the supporting civil docs.

Also the I-864W as well as the DS260 is filled out in the name of the child, not yours.
