Affidavit of support, do I only need this filled in for my interview?

My partner meets above minimum income requirements but at this time he literally has no money in his bank balance from all our trips visiting each other this year and our international / domestic Christmas flights. Will this matter? Is there a minimum current bank balance to ensure approval on affidavit of support?I'm a bit worried.

Doesn't matter his bank balance. We were in similar situation about money and plane tickets after dating for so long.

They just want to know if the USC makes enough.

Nov - 22 - 2014 - EAD/AP approved ?? ( 71 days )

Nov - 24 - 2014 - card in production

Dec - 1 - 2014 - card mailed ??

Dec - 3 - 2014 - Combo card received ??

Dec - 15 - 2014 - email received with interview date for Jan 15 2015! ??

Perfect thanks!

Hard to expect people to have a big bank balance when it costs thousands just for each plane ticket!

Long distance makes us poor money wise but rich in every other way!

Is the affidavit only needed for interview or do you send it through earlier?
