Hi All!

I was wanting to know if what I sent in was enough as proof of a relationship. In the packet I included a statement of how we met and have maintained contact over the past three years as well as about 10 pictures of us over our last three years of dating. I also sent in a few letters that we have sent each other and copies of plane tickets from 5 visits that we have had.

Do you guys think that is enough proof?

For USCIS purposes, you have enough if you sent proof of having met in person during the last two years, and proof that you're both eligible and willing to marry.

Upon petition approval, USCIS sends your package to the consulate. The consulate requires solid proof of a bona fide relationship. The extra material that you sent should help. Collect more to bring to the consular interview.

If USCIS should send you an RFE because of a further need that they have, respond to it with what they want, and you can include additional evidence of a bona fide relationship. You can cover this with a note that says, "Please add this information to the petition file for the consulate officer's eyes" or similar. Most people dread the prospect of an RFE, but RFEs are a golden opportunity to add material to your file to help convince the consul of the bona fide nature of your relationship.
