Hi,

I have a concurrent application with the USCIS at the moment. I am still waiting to get an interview letter from them for the adjustment of status. My question is:

Initially my wife who is the USC filed the petition for me. After I got my EAD, i secured a job here and I am earning more than the required 125%. My wife has stopped working now since she is 7 months pregnant. Will this cause a problem during the adjustment of status process or can I just use my income now instead of hers?

Thank you.

***** Moving from Progress Reports to AOS from Tourist visa forum *****

Assuming you are work authorised either through a work permit or your previous visa, you can self sponsor.
