Ditching my attorney

Hi Vj friends,

I filed I130 through an attorney. My case is now at NVC. I got the case number and invoice number recently. Since I had a lawyer from I130, my DS 261 is skipped and AOS and IV fee is available for payment at the same time. I have decided to fire my lawyer and take care of the nvc process myself. I already sent an email to NVC for this.

Now, should I wait for the nvc reply which may take upto 60 days.

Or should I go ahead and pay both fee and send them the required documents.

Will this cause any issues?

go ahead and pay both fees and call an inform NVC of lawyer removal.

If you can just call them , dun bother emailing them , dun get me wrong but it takes utterly long time for them to response back via email
