g325a, EAD and Advance Parole Clarification

Hi, guys!

Preparing my AOS application and was have a few questions:

For the g325a, do I need to send in 2 of them for both my husband and I? Or just one for myself?

If I am filing for EAD and Advance Parole at the same time, do I need to put in 2 passport photos for each of this forms as well (so a total of 6 with my application)? Also do I need to send in 3 copies of my marriage certificate and my I-94?

Only you fill the G325a, the US Citizen fills the affidavit of support.

Yes, 2 photos for each application.

Only one copy of marriage certificate for the I485.

A copy of the I94 for each application, along with copies of the passport bio page and K1 visa.

All the forms/applications are sent as one and then redirected to different places, so that's the reason for so many copies and photos.

Follow the example forms for the AOS here in visajourney, it does helps. (look up in this page, the tab that says "example forms")..also read again the instructions of I485 form, you need other documents like birth certificate (translated in English) and NOA2.

I am also doing the AOS, I just need to marry LOL

So, I'm flying tomorrow to LAX and basically have everything for my AOS/EAD/AP, bar my marriage certificate (obviously) and my I-94.

What is the craic with the I-94 forms now? I don't recall having been given back an I-94 ever in the past -- although this could be me just not paying attention because I've never had to hang on to one before.

Is it basically just the little tall, thin form you fill out on the plane before you arrive at immigration?

Hello, the I-94 is electronic now, the CBP is not using the paper form since 2011 or 2012? anyway when you arrive, the CBP will scan your passport and the I-94 will be registered in their computer. Then you can access this information in this website https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html . Just fill out a small form requesting your name and passport number, and you will be able to print it out.

You will need a copy for the SSN, and the AOS/EAD/AP.

Thanks for the reply, Abby! For the I-94 do I need the travel history page as well?

I don't think so, we need the current legal status and the I94 will say the date when the 90 days expires...and if we still had the paper form from before, the one I used to fill out in the plane, it wouldn't show the travel history.

I used only the current status for the SSN and no problem there
