They will log it in (which may take a few weeks), create a new case number that you can check on the CEAC website and send your file to the embassy. Then you'll receive all further communication from the embassy :)

Thanks! Are the example form that Visa Journey shows for "practice" the right ones? Also is the K-1 flowchart pretty accurate? We are using a lawyer but we both are really excited/nervous/anxious now?

You mean the Affidavit of Support example? Yeah it is, I used that too :) The K-1 chart is good, but my case went faster than that for some reason. Time from approval till it was at the embassy was 2 weeks and 3 days, which is really good! My fiance called the NVC a working week after it was sent there and we got the case nr. I'm sure you'll do fine

Ehmm honestly I don't know what those are..? Are those AOS fees? I paid one visa fee after I finished the DS-160 and that was all. It was the visa administration fee. I've been approved now, so I guess I did it right

i was just looking at the visa checklist through the site. It listed all of those and when I looked them up on the web the USCIS listed them individually with fees. Just curious, I suppose I will find out from the lawyer. Thanks

Ahh I just Googled them now, they are the AOS ones. I haven't quite started looking at that, since the post-NOA2 stuff had me in a panic ^_^ But I'm sure the senior members here know more about that. Good luck with everything! And if you have any questions you can ask, I have the process fresh in my mind now

Last question...

Are all the fees for the I-485, I-765, I-131, I-175 all separate or do they roll into one thing?

Those are the forms for adjustment of status, not for the K-1 interview. Those come after you are in the US and married. Not sure what the I-175 was supposed to be though. Not a USCIS form that I am aware of. The fees for the I-765 and I-131 are waived when filed with a pending I-485 > http://www.uscis.gov/i-485

If the I-175 was supposed to be the I-751, then that is yet another separate process that will also have its own form filing fee > http://www.uscis.gov/green-card/after-green-card-granted/conditional-permanent-residence

I was JUST about to write this exact question! We also just had our petition approved! After 5 months of waiting, suddenly it feels fast! haha! Good luck in the next steps! We're trying to get all of our ducks in order for when it arrives at the embassy.
