Timeline

Applying for my green card through marriage my wife couldn't stand for me as my sponsor just because she wasn't making enough which was below the poverty limit.she got her a new job two days ago which her income now is now above the poverty limit,can someone please suggest what we can do on this issue.if she can still sponsor me or we get should still get a joint sponsor.

You are currently INSIDE the USA, right, trying to adjust status? Or are you applying for a spousal visa from Nigeria? Because embassies have different polices than the US field offices at times....

The safest would be to go with her as sponsor, have a letter from her employer that it is a stable, long term job and whatever paystubs you can get, but have the co-sponsor paperwork with you just in case.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
