Hello so we got everything set up , Thanks God! Our interview scheduled on the 21 October/14 , got the email.

My wife is willing to come to me so we can pass the interview together !

Is That Alright? do we need to set her an appointment or anything in order for her to get in ?

Ps: Shes American by birth!

No only the beneficiary is allowed in. She can still wait outside and you take her passport in and hand over her passport with yours and that way the CO knows for sure she is with you.

I was there for my husband. I waited at a cafe. When he informed the CO that I was there, she had him come get me and interviewed me, as well.

01/28/2013 I-130 package sent

01/31/2013 Notice of Action Date After POE
02/01/2013 Received e-mail and text notification of acceptance 11/26/2013 Applied for SS#
02/04/2013 Received hard copy NOA1 (case not found in on-line system) 12/02/2013 ELIS site still states "accepted"
03/12/2013 Transferred to the local office 12/27/2013 received green card
04/10/2013 Case still not found in on-line system
04/15/2013 INFO-PASS appointment

05/01/2013 NOA2 sent petition approved

the interview is only needed for the beneficiary the consulate general may set up an interview for the petitioner only for some cases like fraud marriage or scam actions . any way i don t advice u to bring ur wife with you it may hurt your concentration so much or the officer calls her for questions as well
