I am a newbie to VJ. I am from Indianapolis I sent my I129F to the Indianapolis USCIS Service Center instead of the Dallas lockbox. Do you think they will send the packet to the correct USCIS Service Center?

Welcome to the forum.

When in doubt, it is always good to read and follow the USCIS instructions: http://www.uscis.gov/i-129f-addresses

That being said, review this set of USCIS Lockbox Intake Processing FAQs for more information: http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/directorates-and-program-offices/lockbox-intake/lockbox-intake-processing-questions-and-answers

Good luck on your immigration journey.

They will either send it back to you, or send it on to Dallas. No way to know until they do.

I did have tracking but that would only tell me that the package was delivered to the local office. It wouldn't tell me if they shipped it to the Dallas lockbox or if they are returning it to me. Right now I still have no answer.

I received the noa1 and a letter stating that it was forwarded to the correct office. When did you send?? I sent on April 24 and received noa 1 on may 6. I was then transferred from backlogged texas to California.

I sent the packet on September 5 last Friday. So maybe if I am lucky I will get the NOA 1 some time next week. Thank you so much edavis your words have really helped me. I know the process is long and to mess up on one of the first steps is very nerve racking.
