My fiancè petition was transferred from Texas to California on August 11 and since then it has been "touched" twice but nothing else. NOA1 date is April 4. The five month mark has come and gone. I see others that were transferred already approved. Even the transfers who had NOA1 dates in May. I called customer service on 9-10 and he was very friendly and said he would put in a service request. What on earth could be the hold up?

The hold up is the thousands of other cases being processed. The fact that yours was transferred and " touched " means they are at least working on the case file.

I don't think there's any order to the transferred cases. Mine was transferred too. It'll come soon, they're approving them, albeit not in any order, but it's consistent. Unfortunately, tsc seems to have slowed again, so be grateful you were transferred. I know, it's frustrating. I'm waiting too...nearing 5 months.

I am the petitioner.

same here (exactly)...we were transferred from Texas to California too on August 11...NAO1 date was April 4 too ,our attorney called as well and put in a service request and told us they should respond to it within 15-30 days....and oddly (which I don't understand) a few days ago our status changed from ''Initial review'' to ''Request for Evidence" ,we thought we should wait for the hard copy to know what's missing ,yet a few minutes later ,the status changed back to ''initial review'' and has been the same since then.

Sorry it's taking so long, but be patient. I went through the exact same thing to the point that I got my local congresswoman to inquire. It will come. Unfortunately, with USCIS it's all a waiting game.
