You should call NVC.

I sent my request on Aug. 15

Re-sent my request again on Aug. 20

Got the "under review" email on Aug. 22

Called NVC Aug. 25, they told me I was approved

Got approved email on Aug. 28

Case arrived at the embassy on Sept. 9

Got hard copy of expedite approval in the mail today Sept. 11

All depends on how fast your embassy responds. Luckly the embassy in Nicaragua was super fast.

If it has been like a week or so since you sent the request, re-send it.

Make sure it goes to NVCExpedite@state.gov

On the subject line write: URGENT. EXPEDITE NEEDED. CASE # .....

The request goes to the NVC, the NVC sends it to the embassy, the embassy reviews it and then sends an answer to the NVC. Then the NVC sends you an email back saying if you were approved or not.

Do NOT send ur papers to the NVC. I sent mine, my scan date is 8/21, my expedite was approved a few days after that... the NVC told me they wont send my papers because they didnt have the 60 days to look at them... so now I have to get all new documents... When the embassy gets ur case, they will directly send u instructions on what to do.
