How long does it take for embassy to post received files? Help!

Hi VJ Family,

Per NVC trace my physical file was received and signed for in Abu Dhabi 3 weeks ago, but for some reason they still did not post it into their system. I keep following other timelines and they usually send packets within few days, but mine wasn't even entered into their system!!!! I e-mailed them 3 times starting 2 weeks ago and no response at all. Phone system there does not work. I don't know what to do. NVC says it is out of their hands and I can only just wait, which wouldn't be a problem if i didn't see other VJ members are being processed there quickly. Seems my file was misplaced there or something.., and there is no one I could contact for any help. Any suggestions or someone in similiar situation?

I'm having the same problem. But I Got some where with the NVC Today. They said they would put in a request to see if the embassy has received my case. So if you call and say that you sent you case out on this date and that you are worried that they don't have it. Say that you need to know if you have to sent it again. I said this and they told me to call back in a couple of days and I would know if they at least have my packet. Its sooooo Frustrating. I hope this actually works.

lotatricy in my case NVC already placed a trace and confirmed embassy received my physical file 3 weeks ago, is just for some reason embassy did not post it into the system as of yet. Just wait for NVC to give you trace result as it's possible you file is held by customs and didn't reach embassy as of yet.
