Experience at DFW

Ok, hate to admit it but I get a little anxious driving in the big metropolis of DWF airport. Been a while since I've been there and I'm sure there have been a lot of changes. All I can remember is the entrance was like 10 lanes wide.

Been trying to get some details from the internet without much success. Coming in from the north... Need to go to international arrivals (duh). Does someone have recent experience and can give me a few details? Will I look for international arrivals first or the airline?

Thanks in advance and hope this is posted in the right place.

Thank you sir! Love that shade of lipstick!

Once I focused on parking instead of his gate (which I can't go to anyway). I also found remote parking which will allow me to take the bus to International arrivals.

For anyone else that's curious, http://www.dfwairport.com/parking/availability/index.php showed me everything I needed to know. Even shows availability and construction.

Remote parking at DFW is more for long term parking. You really don't want that. You can park right at the terminal for pretty much the same hourly price you'd pay to park out there, and without the shuttle bus ride.

All international flights land at Terminal D, the newest and nicest of the DFW terminals. There's only one way out from customs and immigration, and the International Arrivals is hard to miss.

Drive through one of the 10 lanes at the tollbooths, :) and follow the signs to terminal D. There is 2-hour parking in the parking garage, so just find a space and if you're not already there, take the elevator down to the first floor. Cross over to the terminal and follow the signs for international arrivals, piece of cake.

Hope that helps. I'm through there every month, so know it like the back of my hand almost. :)
