"How I met..." is NOT your entire relationship evidence. So for this part, just keep it simple and honest.

Mine was very short 2 or 3 sentences, but I've also attached about 50 pages of emails and chat logs,

and other evidences for proof of on-going relationship

Hello!!

There is no sample letter, each story is unique! Just give them the basic facts. My fiancé wrote less than half a page, actually I have our packet here and I am realizing it is actually just 1/4 of a page long!! He explain when we started talking, when and where we met and person and how we started the relationship. YOU DONT NEED TO WRITE A LONG LOVE STORY, THEY JUST NEED THE FACTS.

Are you the petitioner or beneficiary? This needs to be submitted with the petition sent by the USC.

You want someone else to write a letter for you about things that happened to you and not them?

Just use your own words.

So is a letter necessary always?

Under 34.a. it states: Describe the circumstances under which you met. If you have not personally met each other, explain how the relationship was established......35.a. Explain in detail any reasons you may have for requesting that the requirement that you and your fiance(e) must have met should not apply to you.

Where does this request for proof of relationship letter come from? Or better yet to rephrase, where on the forms/process is this being requested for everyone regardless? Thanks!

I didnt see it specified, but reading up on it in this forum and other sites advised the 'extra' stuff to be sent (emails, phone records, pictures, etc).
