Hello All,

Just got this email from NVC...WTH are they doing there? 60 regular or business days?? Did anyone else receive this type of email?

Dear Sir/Madam,

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 16-JUN-14. We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship andImmigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documentsreceived. We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete thereview of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents. We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.

Some Vjers on NVC filer-August 2014 have also reported receiving same email from NVC today. I guess NVC is really backlogged and they are giving that time frame to buy time in reviewing packages and clearing the backlog and also prevent people from constant calling and bugging. Its just my own opinion.

I just received the 60 business days notice. This is Some Bull. How they gonna

Make people surfer like That? Did they ever ask thrmself what people are going through doing this? We pay them for à job and Thats How they treat us ? This is very sad and Shame on Who or people running this NVC département bc instead of trying to fix the problèm they are using excuses. We are not just papier or document we are human That had feeling and Care about our family. How dear are they to

Treat us like Some laborotory experiement while people family are suffering from being apart . I hope we have the strength to wait more another 60 days and imaging if u have a check list you gonna have to wait another 60 days . I m very speechless after this . Good luck to the rest of you .May God give u the strength to wait .

i just got off the phone with them , before they said they received my case on the 26 of June but the guy said they take it back so its the 23 of june so from the 23 of june i have to wait 60 days for cc not business days , so when i lokk at it i have to wait 2 extra week , but he also said that he see that my case is under review , so my question is does that mean there looking at my case now or is it still line up?

I haven't got this email, I assume because my AOS was already reviewed and my DS-261, which has not been reviewed, was submitted so far back that it wasn't a date included in the mail merge.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

I agree with you because i'm a f2a benefiacary and there are hell lots of f2a 2013 filers that got stuck and need to wait for PD to be current to get to interview and with recent retrogression and backlog , i'm sure more and more people are constantly calling them so they have no choice but...

I spoke with a rep last night who informed me of this 60 day processing time. What she told me was that with their back log they had to extend the processing time from 30 business days (45 total days) to 60 TOTAL days (not 60 business days) . She said they were doing away with the whole 30 business days time frame because it was causing confusion. So while yes, it will take longer to process our application they are actually only adding 2 weeks to the process not a whole month like it sounds
