hi all, i also just got married to a US citizen, after entering under the Visa Waiver (EU citizen, Austria).

starting to fill out forms to file I-130 for spouse, together with I-485.

a) I-130, C 2, address: should we take the address in the origin country, or - since I am already in the US, the address in the US where i am with my husband now?

b) I-130, C 14, arrival record / expiry of authorized stay: refers to I-94. what do we type here, as I arrived under Visa Waiver? do I put the expiry date according to my passport stamp here?

c) I-130, C 17, continued information about your relative: if it's only me, the spouse, then this field remains blank?

d) I-130, 21, last address we lived together: i've been in the US now for one month. should i put my husband's address here since i've been here? we haven't lived together anywhere else.

e) I-130, 22, "Your relative is in the US and will apply for AOS to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in ....." : how do I know which office that is?

f) G-325A, last occupation abroad: does this include internships abroad? would certain countries here cause a potential delay? in my case internship in columbia (3 months).

should internships not count, does a contract with my Foreign Ministry for work in my country's Embassy abroad? I worked for 6 months at the Austrian Embassy in Croatia.

g) G-325A, box at the end of document: i assume both my husband and i put only our names on our respective forms, and leave the alien registration number blank?

thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,

There are several services online to translate your birth certificate: Like this one http://www.rev.com/ You should use Google to find other similar services. Please remember that you need to send a copy of the original (in spanish) and the translated version in the package. Don't try to do it yourself.

I would recommend you checking the guide for concurrent filing if you haven't done that yet: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

VieSoCal-

a) Write the address you now live at where you want the documents sent.

b) Yes

c) The US citizen fills out this form. It says list the spouse of your relative (you). So list your husband's information.

d) Yes. What else would you put if you've never lived anywhere else?

e) Well, where do you live? Write that office down.

f) Last occupation ie job. It's not a trick question. Write what you were last employed as.

g) Yes.

Just answer the questions as written and do not try to think about what they "mean". They are straightforward questions. The instructions page tells you how to complete.
