One of two things are happening- you will either be getting an interview date or your case will not require an interview. The latter option takes longer, but it saves you from having to interview. Have you checked out the timelines for AOS on VJ yet? Here's the link: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aoslist.php?cfl=&op5=5,6,8,9,10,11

Also, just in case you're wondering, there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason as to who gets an interview and who doesn't. Just know that if you don't have an interview, it can take 8-10 months for the green card to arrive.

One more thing, if you did apply for an EAD/AP when you applied for the adjustment of status, as the poster said above, you should have gotten that by now. I would follow up on that.

My wife filed Feb 24, 2014 and she got her Biometerics done March 2014 and got her GC issued July 25th, 2014. We processed through the Manchester Field Office and it was almost 5 months for us.

Our Stepdaughter's processing time was just under 90 days for her GC.

You might want to look at the timelines for those out of the same Field Office you are going through.
