Hi fellow VJ's

Does anybody knows what the best thing to do to have a better price for hotels? Like if i do online can i get discount?(I dont have creditcard thou. lol) or what if i do directly to the chosen hotel did they give the exact price on it? OR does the petitioner can book online? what should i bring if its so.. Petitioner is not here with me.

Please advice. Thanks!

Do check the pinned topic about hotels in Manila as noted by Hank. Normally, it's cheaper if you book online (Try Agoda.com) and your fiance can book it for you too. He just have to send you the email confirmation and probably a copy of his credit card, blocking the numbers except the last 4 digits.

You can also give the hotels a call to see if they have any ongoing promo or discount.

We stayed at hotel soriente a couple times now.

Really close to slec, and about 10 min walk to embassy. Plenty of restaraunts nearby, McDonald's, chow king, there's a puregold Jr right there, and a 10 min or so walk to Robinson's ermita. Their price is the same online or if you walk in. 1799/ a night. Can book online and pay with a cc, they never asked for the confirmation just our name. Booking right on their site is cheaper than going through agoda. We liked it, big rooms. They get a lot of traffic from slec.

But yeah, check out the hotel thread too, lots of recommendations there.
