Seattle office - no appts available - RFE question

Hello all, my wife had her US Citizenship interview and she passed the test with flying colors but they needed some additional documents in relation to her leaving the country for 11 months. We did submit the documents with overnight delivery. Interview was June 5th, they received the documents the next day and have not heard anything since. I wanted to setup an appointment at the Seattle office, online, but it was telling me none are available. I wanted to ask if 1 month and a half wait is a normal time period to wait on an answer about the RFE.

Any insight?

I agree with Hypnos, just keep trying.

Also, what kind of proof did you have to send? I'm in a similar situation and would like to be prepared. If you don't mind sharing, did she apply based on 3-year marriage or 5-year LPR? Additionally, how long ago was her absence? Thanks in advance!

Thank you, I didn't know the online appts can change that fast, I'll keep checking.

Alix, this was based on 3year rule and when we applied it was based on their question "Have you resided for at least 180 days continuously in the US before applying?" , or something similar to that. She left for Romania in 2011 I think, for 11mos due to her mother being sick and needing care and to be taken to doctors etc. I've sent in proof that we have not interrupted the place where we stay (rent, phone etc). Sorry I'm at work and can't remember all the docs I've sent in

So does anyone know how long usually these RFEs take for Seattle?
