OH well just to easy your pain I did my interview on June 6th brought all the doc none was missing a . Got stuck in Ready case open and ready for your interview from the 27th of June like what the heck.

So I emailed the embassy in kingston a few times cause I got no respond to my emails I sent one every week. till this week, today! I got a respond that I was still in admin P ) took matters into my own hands and call (us department of state) first call, waited for 1hour a woman answers I gave her what she asked for then she says Sir the website is down can you call back in 1 hour :ranting:. Second call 1 hour later Guys answers gave him what he asked for. Then he said how may I help you today I explained that I wanted to know what was the hold up and if they had forgotten about my case?. He does some checks and then told me that I was still in AP, But CEAC says Ready :protest:!!!!!!!!!!! He say sir you are

not missing any papers its just that the counselor officer has yet to make final decision.

So because one person has the power over a piece of paper or stamp I have Wait Man That Sucks

The funny thing is one night I got a dream that it was a her holding me up and I kicked her ### in the dream hahahapost-179110-0-75150200-1406091104_thumb.jpg

I can hardly believe you're still waiting. It's frustrating when you have no control over your own destiny, it's in the hands of someone else who obviously cares nothing about the fact that you have already been waiting nearly a year, while they go home every night to their loved one

I did just read on the US Embassy Jamaica website http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Jamaica&cty=Kingstone

Visa issued same day?Noball.gif

If not whats the waiting period?Average is 2-4 weeks; everyone goes through an Additional Processing (AP)period after the interview.

Waiting is the most difficult when you wait this long :crying:

From what I read your change of status is good thing. I've read on other threads it goes back into AP right before it prints visa. But then again all the reading I've done there are many differences.

I hope you get your loved one home to you. I know the feeling cs this is taking a tremendous toll on my children and me. We are waiting to do our family vacations when he comes home......

Best of luck to you!
