moving to new address while paper is in process

Hi,

My question is what if I have to change addresses while my fiance visa is in process? Will this be an issue?

We plan to live in the same state, same city just different apartment.

I don't understand. Why would you live in different apartments? You kind of have to be living together or USCIS will think it's a sham marriage. I mean you don't have to live together while you're engaged, but once you marry you definitely have to, unless there are some extenuating circumstances.

I did say "we". Which implies we would be living together. What I mean by the fiance visa is that it's in the first stages... not after getting the 90 day permit. I will be in Canada and the fiance lives in USA. He might have to move apartments in December which our paper work would be in the 4th month of waiting. So would he having to change apartments then be an issue? The reason he would have to move is because the landlord wants to sell the home.

If it's just a change of address, that's not going to affect you guys in any way. Just call customer service and update the address, otherwise noa notices will be sent to the old address. It should be virtually painless.

Not an issue, just notify the USCIS of your address change.
