I filed the I-130 on 2/28 for my mom. I just received the following case update from USCIS

"On July 22, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

Has any I-130 petitioner received this update??? What does it mean? Please help !!!

Thanks in advance

It may be going to NVC first but that step is typically the quickest part of the process

almost definitely. i had filed I 129 jan 25 and he had his interview sept 17. if they are going at roughly the same pace, which looks like they are based on your post. she may get an interview late sept or oct. even if you have to wait for the visa issue for awhile as some of these folks are. she will most likely have it by Dec. Best of luck
