are binders allowed inside for interview? I read where only nylon bags were allowed to carry items in.

03/09/2013: Married

09/10/2013: Sent I-130

09/12/2013: Case Received.

03/04/2014: Petition transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

03/25/2014: I-130 Petition approved

03/28/2014: Petition sent to NVC

04/09/2014: NVC received case

05/08/2014: NVC assigned case number

05/16/2014: Paid AOS fee

10/02/2014: Case Closed

10/10/2014: Interview Date Scheduled

11/17/2014: Interview - APPROVED!!

Yes binders are allowed in Lagos. Use to be you could bring a suitcase full of stuff but they trimmed that down the Must Go bag is good enough. Don't go crazy bringing everything. A binder and a few folders will make CO happy to see you. And make sure that binder, album has easy access to take things out to slide under the glass.

I thought we should bring lots of evidence? should I only bring stuff of recently? will they want to see any original stuff that I sent them a copy of ...such as our guest book at reception?

We used one of those accordion folders with lots of slots. One slot for each category of stuff.. Binders do not fit through the window.

You have maybe 15 to 20 minutes with the CO,. They aren't going to poor over stuff you already have. Recent sure. Especially if there's been a trip since you filed petition that's not in that evidence. Pictures they may ask for. It really is a case by case. If you read the interview reviews some say nothing was asked for others have had to show alot. It truly is about what did you present from the beginning and what have they found since then they may want to look at. But bringing "everything". Why?

More chats, and emails and Skype I don;t think they care. Some more trips, more pics, a wedding, engagement. Yes. Face time evidence will always be your best evidence.
