We filed for AOS in April, and on April 18th our I-485 was place in "Acceptance."

Since then we have received already the approved work permit, and travel permit card.

Our I-485 remained in acceptance to this date, and has not been touched since April 21st.

I submitted a photo attachment, and have already created a service request with USCIS.

We're trying to figure out if we are going to be chosen for an interview, or not considering it's month 3 with yet no word.

Please share your similar experiences with this, and the outcomes. :)

It is going to sit on acceptance until it is approved. The online system is not accurate and not tied directly to your case. There are many threads explaining this.

No need to call anyone. Good luck.

Waiting 3 months is not long yet. Not sure what you would need to call about. The case status is most likely not going to change until perhaps it gets approved. AOS approval varies and depends on if you get an interview or not, and what local USCIS office you interview at, if you get an interview. It can take 4-10+ months for AOS. The progress forum will be the place to check out. Perhaps look in the thread for other April filers and see where they are in the process. That will just be estimate too though, because as I said, the time varies from case to case.

~ Moved from AOS from Family Based main forum to Progress Reports sub-forum - topic is case status ~

Mine is the same, but dated April 17th.

It just likely means that your case will be processed at the NBC and you'll receive the interview waiver, instead of it being sent to your local field office. I've noticed that early April filers have been receiving these letters recently, so theoretically we may be receiving them soon.

You definitely don't need to worry as you are well within normal processing times, and a service request probably won't tell you anything but that.

2013 7/15 I-129F sent, 7/18 received Dallas lockbox, 7/22 NOA1, 10/22 NOA2, 11/15 NVC Case Created, 11/20 NVC Shipped, 11/25 Consulate received, 11/28 Packet 3 received/returned, 11/29 Medical, 12/9 Packet 4 received

2014 1/9 Interview - Approved, 1/15 CEAC - Issued, 1/17 Visa in hand, 2/5 POE: LAX, 4/4 Married!, 4/8 AOS/EAD/AP filed, 4/14 NOA1, 5/7 Walk-in biometrics, 5/19 EAD/AP approved (expedited), 5/22 EAD/AP mailed, 5/23 EAD/AP received, 7/29 Interview waiver letter

2015 4/13 AOS approved (no interview), 4/22 Green card received

2017 1/17 I-751 ROC filed (VSC), 1/23 NOA, 2/28 Biometrics

2018 1/31 ROC approved

2020 1/14 N400 filed

....hey thank you for replying! I wanted other April filers to reach out so im glad you did share your experience. I'll follow your timeline since ours is pretty similar. :)

Yeah I am not too anxious. I was overwhelmed during the initial k1 process, but now that my wife is here with me I'm fine with it being slow. Lol. I just wanted feedback from people like yourself within the same time frame. My case still remains untouched since I got the notice of acceptance. Best of luck to you!!!
