Hi everybody (:

Is it possible to file at one field office and then attend a biometrics appointment (would try to just do a walk in) at another? My fiancée and I are filing this December from Phoenix, AZ and are moving to Dallas, TX in Jan or Feb (so interview will for sure be at Dallas office). I don't want to go through the trouble of switching field offices if it will delay the case.

You do not file at any local office. All AOS from K-1 applications are mailed to the Chicago Lockbox. http://www.uscis.gov/i-485

If you file before you move, then you will need to put in a change of address, or you can wait until you have the new address to file with from the start.
