I sent the reply for my RFE on the 1st of this month and they processed it as received on the 3rd...

So far the status hasn't changed and I've seen people getting their status from RFE updated to Testing and interview within 1 week or a week and a half.

I'm kinda freaking out :cry:

Your status is "RFE Review". Nothing to worry about, they may take longer on some RFEs than others. Mine took about two weeks, but it was a REALLY simple RFE.

Someone doesn't have RFE review update, you should count yourself lucky. Be patient, immigration is a patient challenge.

Someone doesn't have RFE review update, you should count yourself lucky. Be patient, immigration is a patient challenge.

Thank you! I'm just paranoid. I got today an answer to the expedite request I made on the 15th for the EAD. Does that mean that they already checked the information on the initial RFE to proceed and approve the EAD?

Status change after 1 week of receiving an RFE is not realistic. The earliest change I know of is 3 weeks. However I also personally know of someone whose decision took several months. In my opinion, it depends on how simple the RFE was and how adequately you satisfied the request.

I just found out that they sent me a 2nd RFE asking for the same thing. and I never received the RFE or the status updated. they "sent" it on the 10th. I found out through my congressman

Wow, that is strange! They received the first one (you said so), so someone lost it on the way from the mail room to the data entry office, whatever it is! :wow:

Another possibility is, they looked at your original RFE response and didn't find what they were looking for. Did you send them everything they asked for in the first RFE response?
