Hi VJ friends, this process has definitely been a journey. I am currently under "review" after submitting a copy of my USC copy and I am impatiently waiting for fee bills to get my petitions FINALLY ROLLING. I am curious to know if it will be possible for my case to be done by the end of the year? I hope that someone can tell me something good. I am getting a little depressed. This journey has been emotionally and physically consuming.

Yes I think there is a good chance you'll be done by the end of the year, unless there are further RFEs.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

what part are u on in the process?? did u send AOSand IV already ??

I really don't know! My petitions were approved back on March and NVC got my case about a month later after that. The problem was that when I filed, I was a LPR and later became a USC. I sent copies of my USC certificate and they "never received it" so I sent it again and it took more than five weeks for them to acknowledge them. Now, they upgraded my name because I took my husband's last name. In a letter that was sent to me last week they said that in order to upgrade my category they need to review the documents submitted (USC certificate). What I am really wondering is if this is going yo take another 5 to 6 weeks to review and will make my process a LOT LONGER!! I am desperate here and I am really not getting any answer from anybody. This site is my only hope because let's face, NVC is not much help.

im a lil confuse sorry.. what is USC ?? so they still have not asked you to pay AOS and IV ???

United States citizenship certificate? I think? I am not really good with thus terms but is fun to use them, lol. Anyways, I have not received any fee bills yet and that is what I am curious about. By this point, I should have been filing those already.

casefile at NVC or USCIS ?

If NVC, then yes, it's possible at the end of the year.

If USCIS, no, sorry, need more time to upgrade the petition to CR-1/IR-1 designation from F2(A?)

Since yer timeline states NVC receive on 2014-03-28

then

yes, it's possible, I suggest you make a new friend at NVC, a supervisor, via telephone call.

Then ask the supervisor to review that doc intake on your citizenship status 'upgrade'.

Yes, it is at NVC. I already called on Wednesday, so I am going to call back on Monday. I don't want to be a real pain in the neck to them or should I be? Anyways, let's hope that I can have my family here a least by christmas ?.

if you are not talking with a supervisor (not the person that answers the phone firstly) then you be spinning your wheels.
