Hi all,

My fiance had his interview in December 2013 and was placed on AP. We have contacted the Consulate in Ankara, Turkey to check on the status, but get the standard email saying we're in AP, it takes time, etc. The only update to our status on the CEAC site occurred when they responded to emails. However, the last two weeks, our Status Updated Date has been updated twice. Does anyone have any idea if this is good news or does it simply mean someone has touched our case?

I won't go in to how desperate I am for him to get his visa, because I know everyone here is in the same boat. However, it sure would be nice :)

Take care,

Lauren

Don't worry, AP at this point is standard for all middle eastern men and most women ( of course there are those who are exceptions, but they are the minority and mainly women ) , so, it's just standard stuff. AP for Iranians usually means it's a done deal.
