I have a question the visa for my wife was approved on the 22 of may how long is taking to domex to recive the visa so mi wife can pick it up we opted to pick it up at domex does anyone know how much is taking now and days to get the visa

Ours took exactly 1 week to be ready. But remember today is a US holiday so they may get delayed a little!

3/13/13: Filed K1 Application

3/20/13: NOA1

7/12/13: RFE

8/5/13: RFE Reply

8/26/13: NVC Received

9/4/13: Packet 4 received via email

9/23/13: Fiancee received his hard Packet 4

12/5/13: Interview, Visa Aprobada!

12/12/13: Visa Received

12/13/13: Entry into US

AOS

1/15/14: Filed AOS

1/22/14: NOA

2/13/14: Biometrics Appointment

3/25/14: EAD and AP Approved

3/31/14: EAD/AP Combo Card Received

4/28/14: Received Interview Waiver Letter

10/8/14: Called USCIS and was allowed to file a Service Request since we're outside of normal processing times for our local office. Should have a response in 15-30 days.

10/29/14: Received letter (dated 10/27/14, exactly 1 day before the 6 month mark) stating that our case would be transferred to the Houston field office for processing.

11/28/14: Received letter (dated 11/20/14) stating that our case had been received at the Sacremento office and would be processed there and if we don't hear from them in 60 days to contact NVC.

12/9/14: Card is in production

12/16/14: 2 year card in hand!

We were approved feb 26th, the visa was not ready for pickup till march 15th in santiago

 

8/22/15 Received notice of interview "call in letter" for September 1st 8am

9/01/15 AOS Interview Houston-APPROVED!

9/01/15 Card in production, Welcome notice has been mailed

9/05/15 Welcome Notice Received

9/08/15 Greencard was mailed

9/10/15 GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!!!!

6/2/17 mailed I-751 to csc priority mail

7/1/17 I-751 returned rejected (multiple items)

7/3/17 I-751 mailed again with signature confirmation

7/6/17 second I-751 delivered and signed for by Daniel Manchaca

7/10/17  Check Cashed

7/10/17  NOA

7/22/17  Biometrics letter for 8/2/17

8/02/17 Biometrics appointment DONE

3/05/18 case moved to local office

8/25/18 Extension letter (18 months)

Moved from IR-1/CR-1 Process & Procedures to Caribbean regional forum; procedures regarding return of passports after the interview vary from country to country which makes this topic specific to the Dominican Republic.

September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

do you guys know how to check the status of the visa ... because wen I go to the website and put it my case number it says it was updated the 28 but it doesn't say what

Have you do this?

It takes 1 - 3 weeks, depending on location. Delivered by DOMEX courier service. Or you can schedule to pick it up from designated location. http://www.domex.do/

We've been calling the DOMEX office and asking if anything has arrived. We are calling the office in La Romana. We tried tracking from the DOMEX website but it wasn't very helpful. The Domex gal was able to tell me when are documents arrived to the consulate and just told us they are waiting to get documents back fromt he consulate. Based on her records nothing had been sent by the consulate. I hope this helps.

wow, you are still waiting for the embassy the get your kids birth certs? how much longer do you think it will take?

Never mind ... I see the update in another thread. Wow, that's crazy. One little sheet of paper holding everything up. He should have had the VISA a long time ago.

It's been a week since we mailed the document and according to DOMEX the consulate received the documents on Monday the 26th. I haven't hit the panic button yet because I see movement on the CEAC website, however, I will feel super relieved once it is issued :) I emailed the embassy on Monday and haven't received a response. I resent the email on Thursday too. It usually has taken them a week to get back to me in the past. We are so CLOSE and yet it feels sooooooooooooo far!
