Renewal I-765 + AP. Travel with child

The only biometrics fee you pay is for the I-485, not the I-765 or I-131. USCIS recommends you file for renewal AP and / EADs 120 days before your current documents expire. Enclose a copy of your I-485 NOA along with your renewal applications to show that your I-485 is still pending.

Your son will only need his US passport to travel.

Hi,

In terms of traveling with your newborn son, it is correct that the child will need a passport. Remember, he will also need to get a visa, depending on the country. And lastly, and very crucial, you will need a affidavit from the father/mother (whoever is staying or not traveling with you) granting permission for the child to leave the country and be in your guardianship. Remember, to take a US Citizen under the age of 18 without the permission of both parents is against the law. It can be consider kidnapping. You can get this form with a notary public or with a lawyer. Good luck.

If you already have your green card, no need to renew the EAD/AP. As asked above, are you really still waiting almost a year after your interview for your green card?

EDIT > Just saw your other post, and you are still waiting that long for your green card. Try contacting the ombudsman to look into your case. It could not hurt anything : http://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance

No fees needed for the EAD ad AP with a pending I-485. Include a copy of your I-485 receipt with each form and other supporting documents.
