Hello Happy Easter Everyone ? my interview was on April 7, 2014. Fiancé came on my interview so as expected not a lot of questions and got approved right away! Was very happy. But what bothers me today is that it's been 2 weeks since I got approved and until now I still didn't get my visa. Here in the Philippines you can either let the USEM deliver your passport door to door or you can pick it up at a certain courier which takes only 2 to 3 working days as what I read on a k1 group in Facebook. I decided to pick it up so it won't take long but until now haven't got it yet. Tried tracking my visa and my status says "READY", does it means my visa is at the US embassy still? Do I need to worry? How long should I wait? Tried calling the embassy also and spoke with an agent but said the same thing I found online. What I do now?

Well, dont worry they will issue the visa when they want.

I was approved on march 18 and no visa yet.

They play with the people in the way they want.

They dont care about people they do the things how they want.

The only thing you can do is WAIT.

It seems they did not issue the visa yet. If the status shows as Issued, then the visa will be deliveried soon.

Hello,

Congrutulations! Don't worry. My fiancee was interviewed at the same time you were, April 7th. She also opted to pick-up her visa at 2GO in SM Manila. CEAC showed her status ready as of April 14th, but the visa was not delivered to 2GO until April 17th, which is when she picked up her visa just 2 hours before her flight back to her home town. USEM must just be doing some final administrative processing. Keep checking CEAC and once the status changed to ISSUED then you know you'll be notified soon. Best wishes!

  • 2 weeks later...

guys, my status was change into AP yesterday :(

Hope your status change to issue soon

I am in ap from march 24, my interview was in march 18.

They dont care if you are desperate to be with your fiance.

Even if everything is right they give hard time to people.

The thing that make me angry and mad to me is that fake relationship they approved and issue quick.

But sometimes the real couples they put in ap and that can take long

Hi, random question. After the iterview with the consul, my fiance was told to wait for her number to be called again. When her number was called to window 72, the guy just told her that she can go home. Is this something that we should be worried about? She was not asked to go to the "2GO" booth same with the lady called before her. Thank you! :)

Hello,

I think so, it sounds not good. When the visa is approved, they will let you know. Like me, the consul said, "alright, im gonna approve you guys! have a nice day" and when we went to the last window, the lady there asked me question if the visa is really for pick up at 2Go or i wanted to change etc.. and told us just to wait for the text of 2Go. She should have asked the lady consul if she is approved or not. But dont worry i might be wrong... Keep thinking positive :)
