Hi,

I have started working with a friend here in South Africa producing cricket (the sport, I don't expect many Americans to know what it is ;) ) equipment and setting up an online coaching program. I am in possession of a "R B1/B2" visa which is valid for another 9 years. Am I able to use this visa to enter the USA and meeting with some cricket clubs to promote our product and coaching system and retail stores that sell cricket equipment with the view of them importing and selling our equipment, or do I need to apply for a different visa for this. The stay will probably be spaced over a couple of weeks as I will be visiting 3 states and meeting with a number of different clubs and stores in this regard.

Any wisdom on this would be greatly appreciated :D

Wonderful, thanks for the info :)

As you appear to know something about cricket in the USA.....do you think there is a market for top quality online coaching and equipment for young kids that will help them learn the game....and learn to play it properly from a young age?

We played cricket in gym class. But I don't think there is a market for high quality gear :)

I do not know of any children that play Cricket, Football is another issue. Add Rugby and Squash. I have seen children play those.

Logically in a country of 300m there must be some demand.

If you have a programme directed at other English speaking countries, would be no harm making it available in the US.

I know nothing about cricket..

But your travel plan sounds exactly like what the "business" bracket on the B1/B2 was designed for! No problem.
