My NOA-1 has a date of April 1, 2014. I am just wondering, who has received a fast approval from TSC for the K-1? I am really hoping to have my honey here by September, god willing. I sent out my packet on March 28, 2014, received NOA April 1st. I know definitely for a fact I wont receive an RFE because I work for an immigration attorney and I submitted ANY OR ALL possible evidence they might request. Please guys your input would be greatly appreciated. I know it says 5 months but some people dont wait that long. My NERVES ARE A WRECK!!!!

There is really no way at all of telling when you will be approved and receive NOA2. It could take 1 month or it could take 5 months and sometimes even longer like the poster above me said.

I filed our petition on November 18th 2013 and still no NOA2. Just be prepared to wait as long as it takes, there's no way to speed things up so just sit back and enjoy the ride.

11/18/2013 - Filed I-129F
11/25/2013 - NOA1 text/email received
05/01/2014 - NOA2 text/Email received
06/18/2014 - Interview - Approved
07/31/2014 - Point of Entry
10/17/2014 - Married
10/23/2014 - Filed AOS/EAD/AP
11/07/2014 - 3x NOA1 text/emails received

12/05/2014 - Biometrics

12/22/2014 - EAD/AP Approved

01/02/2015 - EAD/AP Card Received

I got my NOA1 on 29th January, so far nothing! There is still many November & December filers waiting for their NOA2's.

As of January, TSC had 5,500+ backlog of petitions to approve (from their website data)

So even us January filers are looking at May/June for our NOA2's.

I would estimate a good 5 months just for your NOA2 then another 3 months for an interview, that would be December for arrival. Sorry.

After waiting for what seems like an eternity (which this is only our fourth month)... the best advice I can give you is to expect the full five months. I kept looking at my timeline VJ estimate and I would get all excited because it would give me an earlier estimated date for the NOA2, but it was always wrong for me. Then, somewhere I had read that the average time was running around 90 days..... that proved to not be true as well.

If you are like me, you will wreck your life stressing over this. DO NOT expect your noa2 for months. If it for some reason comes early, that is great!

Somebody linked a good forum a few posts above this. I definitely recommend checking it out. Here is another one about the TSC:

Above all try to stay positive! You are on the road to being together!

We got our approval in 43 days BUT we were also granted an expedite due to regional unrest. If granted an expedite, you're told to expect a response in 45 days or less.
