Hi there,

Can anyone tell me if the length of time to POE with AP would be the same as when my husband POE'd with the K1? Looking at booking a trip want to make sure there is enough time between connections.

Also, if for some reason while aboard the green card is issued, will my husband still need to go through the same process with AP or would CBP see his status and process him differently?

Thank you,

BeanCamp

He will need to go to secondary. And if his GC is approved while he is abroad they will still process him as AP.

Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

I have used AP twice at BWI, first time I was stamped in at the desk, second time went to secondary, was there about 15 mins. Just depends on how many people may be in front of you at secondary if you go there.

No issues when flying with AP. Some questions about why we still didn't have GC yet. We asked him can he look and see why? Then they stamped 551 in his passport. Done!
