Dear Fellow VJers....

Yeah..Checked the site and our I-129F have been approved April 14th....Awaiting confirmation in the mail along with the relevant instructions...

In Jamaica, obtaining a police record in the normal time 21 dys (I take it days mean working days)..is JA$3,000 or USD 27 or so...As i will be needing 3,(2 children included)...could i go ahead and make the application so as to not incur extra fees as 5 days processing is double and express 24 hrs JMD 8,000 or USD 73...

Or do i wait for the original notice and then confirmation from NVC...

Also i see where fingerprinting is JMD 1500...has anyone ever needed to pay for both or just the police report is sufficient?

How old are the children? They will need police certs and non-impediment certs if over a certain age. You can request both certs now.
