IR-1/CR-1: Need info on DHL and sending additional paperwork

Hi everyone!!

I am new to Visa Journey andd am hoping someone can help me out with this question! My husband (Peruvian) and I (U.S. citizen) have had our I-130 approved in Lima and we are now waiting for the packet of information with his interview date. I have read on another site that, prior to his interview, we have to register for DHL. That does not seem too complicated. However, I have gotten nervous because I have an aunt (Peruvian) who just had her interview at the Lima embassy for a IR-1/CR-1 visa to the U.S.. She, unfortunately, was missing paperwork. She was told that she needed to turn in her paperwork electronically before they could issue the visa. This is confusing to me. Does she really need to send the additional paperwork electronically (scan)? Or does she just need to register for DHL and then print out a paper that she mails with her documents? I would really appreciate if other members who have had to turn in paperwork after the interview could respond, letting me know how they sent in the required paperwork. I am aware that my husband and I may run into this problem and I would love to be prepared, as well as help out my aunt with some information. Thank you all so much!!!
