Hello everyone who is in the prosess for K-1 fiance visa. I would like to share my sad experience with you guys - all of you who are waiting for the same kind of visa. Me - Juliana H. and my american fiance - Robert W. - have been waiting over 1 year for our K-1 petition to be approved (we started it on March 2013) and finally after so many months of listening to lies on the phone we were told (April 2014) that our petition had expired 6 months ago (September 2013). So we have basically been waiting for nothing and nobody told us the truth and now we have to start the whole proces from step 1 and send a new K-1 petition. This time, after over a year of waiting we are going to hire one of the best lawyers in Delaware and hope that he can help us. I just want to share with all of you my bitter experience with those phone people who represent NVS, they tell all kind of different lies, do not trust any of their words, do not make the same mistake like me and my fiance did, we believed them and we lost 1 year of our lives. Our case had been shut down and we weren't sent any information letter about this. Instead of this we have been told all this time on the phone that our case is still in power and we have to wait and there was no specific time frame for waiting. So the NVC representatives were lying to us on purpose. May be we would have never knew the fact that our petition had expired if I hadn't tried to apply for tourist visa in my country - Bulgaria. The consul refused me tourist visa cause of my fiance awaiting process. She also called on the phone NVC and that is how I found out the truth. My american fiance has called the same people over 10 times in the passed year but they were telling us various of lies to manipulate us and make us sure that our petition is doing quite well.
There are some more details about our fiance case, and if you have similar problems and you are waiting too long so you realize it's something really suspicious, I can give you all the details about my case.

I am sorry for my horrible english. I will ask my fiance about all the details and write them down later here. For now I would like to ask if anybody of you has an idea how can be expired I-129F petition extended...?

All I found on the site travel.state.gov is:

My Petition Expired – Can It Be Extended?

The I-129F petition is valid for four months from the date of approval by USCIS. A consular officer can extend the validity of the petition if it expires before visa processing is completed.

An approved I-129F goes through NVC in about one minute. Then it goes on to the embassy where you apply for the visa. If you don't contact the embassy then they will let your petition expire. They will extend the petition if you are in touch with them. The embassy might be able to extend it for you, but since it has been so long I expect they sent it back already, thinking you had abandoned the process.

*How can we extend our I-129F petition which expired 6 months ago? Is extending in our case possible at all?

If you paid your visa fee, just schedule an interview and the consulate will extend your petition. Have you done your medical exam?

I think the main forum would get more exposure than on here. The person has a problem, they are not reporting a mere case status update.
