Hi guys! So here is another question,I cant seem to finish putting this AOS packet together!!!:(

I have my last 3 years of taxes 2012 being the most recent, since that,I have been in a new job(still need a co sponsor for my husband) so when filling out i864, which income do i put? my income of this year since my new job(since december 2013) or only the ones on my taxes?since it does ask my current employment, I am totally confused on this!

They will go by your taxable income only, this is a huge mistake my lawyers made, but, remember if you have assets that counts too, and recent bank stubs, showing you have money in your account will pulll your earned income up, I only lacked 700.00 to pass, and I had enough to cover that in the bank...Put anything down that you own with tax value, this includes vehicles..remember that...Hope this helps a little bit :):secret:

Still Put your currant job, with recent paystubs, then add the taxes for the past 3 years, meaning, 2011-2012 and for 2013 you will need to put your entire tax return along with the w2s. From the prior 2011 and 2012 years.. Thats what I had to do for the i-864 but were going for the CR-1 Visa, you may wanna double check that part. If for some reason you are missing something on the sponsor forms that you are sending in, they will let you know, to bring it to his interview, I can tell you that. Because, they will send you a confirmation of the visa interview, and it will tell you if the packet lacks anything...

This question has been confused by all this extra info, some of which is not even correct.

First of all, they do not go by taxable income only. Non-taxable income can be included as income as well. Income is income. It all just needs to be documented.

Assets do not need to be listed unless your income falls short of the requirement and they are needed. If your income alone meets the requirement for your household size plus the foreign spouse, then you can skip the assets section and leave all that blank. You cannot even list a vehicle if it is your only one anyway.

Okay, back to the OP's questions > You need to list your current annual income, not what you made last year or the year before. Take your current hourly pay times how many hours a week you work, then multiply that by 52 weeks to get your current annual income. Use a letter from your employer and/or most recent pay stub(s) to prove that amount. You only need to include your most recent complete tax return or IRS transcript. You only need to list the Total Income from the last 3 years on the I-864 form itself. Since it is so close to the 2013 filing deadline, it is possible that you will receive an RFE asking for your 2013, most recent tax return, if you do not send it as most recent right now.
