Hi all,
I sent the I-864 package last week, and it was delivered their on Wednesday morning. they haven't still entered it into their system whistling.gif . just worndering, how long generally it takes for them to enter I-864 and process it ?

IMO, 1 day to 3 weeks.

Come on, these are government workers, dealing with a queue. Ya don't and can't break the queue.

Call NVC, get a human, inquire on status.

Don't believe portlib_jc was asking how to break the queue, they were just asking to give an estimate of the timeframe.

* August 25, 2008- Placed on A.P.

* December 17, 2008- Notice that Petition Returned to USCIS for further review.

* February 4, 2009- Received notice the USCIS has received returned petition.

* June 4, 2009- Petition Re-affirmed by USCIS.

* July 10, 2009- NVC sent Re-affirmed petition back to U.S.Embassy, New Delhi.

* August 10, 2009- Embassy notified via email that they've received the Re-affirmed petition assigned with a 'new' case number as well as mailed Packet 3.

* August 20, 2009- Embassy sent as an email attachment, the DS-230, Applicants Statement and Cover letter to Packet 3.

* August 20, 2009- Sent request letter to Embassy to extend validity date of petition.

* August 25, 2009 - Embassy received request to extend validity letter.

* Sept 2, 2009- Embassy confirmed their receipt of the completed DS-230 and Applicants Statement.

* October 29, 2009 @ 9:30 AM-2nd Interview date- Visa Approved!!!!

* November 4th, 2009- Received Passport with Visa intact!

* December 4th, 2009- Fiance arriving in U.S.

ours took 3 days from delivery to be changed on the avr as received, and another 6 days to review and accept. good luck good.gif

CR-1 JOURNEY

USCIS Stage (again): time between NOA1 and NOA2: 2 months, 2 weeks, and 2 days (77 days total)

NVC Stage: time between Case received and Sign on Failed/Case complete: 1 month, 21 days (52 days total)
September 28, 2009: Case received
November 18, 2009: Sign-on Failed!!
November 19, 2009: AVR already updated to show case completed on November 18, 2009, PRAISE JESUS!!!
November 19, 2009: Operator told me to wait for a possible January interview date. Come on 2nd week of December!!

yeah, no intention of breaking any queue. actually my I864 was lost by USPS, they initially sent to LA, and then they shipped it to NVC. USPS Online status says its delivered, so until AVR doesnt say "received" I cant trust USPS

I mailed mine 10/21 by two day Delivery

They issued letter on 11/5 which I have not received yet and also called the NVC and talked to an Agent and they said it was accepted.
