I have a guestion, I sponsored for my husband. We studied in the same college. Got married about 2 years ago in a very simple way, just exchanged sweets n thats it. Got ourselves legally registered the next day. We have pictures of the ceremony with very few people. We have pictures of us before our marriage times and after too. After our marriage we lived together and studied together. The place where we lived has the rent deed under my husband name only and i ve just signed as a witness. Is this all to prove that we were living together or more documents are needed. We didn't know that we needed to have our names everywhere together to prove that we r married and living together. Can someone pls tell me if this is enough as a proof?

How to prepare evidence of bona fides and prepare for the interview is another subject altogether, best discussed in the US Embassy and Consulates forum. Generally, one would prepare evidence of additional visit and ongoing communication as well as actual preparation to answer applicable questions as part of the interview. |

How long has it been since you lived together? They might be more concerned with how you keep in contact since you came back to the US. That would make more sense to me unless you JUST moved back here and you guys lived together for those 2 years.
It is a good idea to check the consulate forums for details/tips about what to bring and how to prepare. -------------------- "you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"
Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard. Thanks! |
