Hi guys,

I just received a RFE letter 2 days ago, "Request for Initial Evidence (I-485)"

"In order to process your application further, the petitioner/sponsor on Form I-864, Affidavit of Support,
must submit all supporting tax documentation (W-2s, 1099s, etc)
submitted to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for the most recent tax year. (2008)

And they recommended me to see Form I-864 instructions, page 8, "Federal Income Tax Information"

Instructions for I-864 on USCIS website -
If you provide a photocopy of your tax return(s),
you must include a copy of each and every form W-2 and Form 1099 that relates to your return(s).

Do not include copies of these forms if you provide an IRS transcript of your return(s) rather than a photocopy.

I submitted my husband's copies of 3 years tax return (1040) and copies of 3 years tax return transcript.
My husband doesn't have W-2s, or 1099s.

Can I response a RFE by sending them an Official Tax Return Transcript without W-2 and 1099?

Thank you

Tax transcripts should be sufficient. You shouldn't need W2's and 1099s w/ tax transcripts.
