I was telling Jewel - thank god I didn't get an RFE for not having a letter of intent or original bioraphical data or actual passport photos! lol. I'm not complaining!!! I'm running and running with my NOA2 straight to NVC in hopes for a quick layover en route to Beirut! -------------------- I-129F Sent 7/14/09
I-129F Received 7/15/09 NOA1 7/16/09 TOUCH: 11/19/09 RFE: NOA2: 11/19/09 10/26/09 - Contacted USCIS - Was issued a service request and given a reference number (told to wait 45 days for response) 11/04/09 - Received a response from USCIS as to my service request dated 10/26 - "The processing of your case has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision, as the required investigation into your background remains open." - 11/16/09 - Called USCIS to try and find out more answers. Got nowhere. But I did set up an Infopass appointment at a local field office. 11/27/09 - Appointment pending at USCIS field office 11/03/09 - Contacted Congressman - They will issue a serive request to check status either today or tomorrow. (told to wait 1 week to 90 days for response) 11/06/09 - Followed up with Congressman - to see if service request was sent out to USCIS (left v.m). 11/09/09 - Got an email from Congressman's office that a letter has been sent from their office requesting status on my app 11/12/09 - Emailed Congressman rep with new approvals stats of August Filers [b] 11/12/09 - Contacted my attorney and told him to send a letter requesting status/information (as per another attorney) He said he would, but who knows. |

So ...thank you to all of you ...and you all know who you are (back to oscar speech) I want to thank Jewel, Nancy, love waits, starlight, Malarieeeeeee, Kristen, t&g and lykka!! Ok i know i'm forgetting someone on the list damn it! But all of you who listened to me whine and complain and throw myself the pitty party!!!!!!!!!!! Contact the congressman. Set up infopass (I was going to go next week) keep calling. (I emailed my congressman about 2 times a week showing her the stats of approvals). I will wish and hope that yours comes asap. It will Hi M & F, Just a suggestion I know lawyers are great and we need them. But, you can fill out the 1-134 now and dont' wait around for them, until they are really fast and get it to you asap. I just prepared my 1-134 and submitted my employment letter, paystubs, and 3 years of tax return. It's quite simple to fill out the 1-134 , but let me know if you need help. Then I told my lawyer what I did and she told me to send her the copies of what I submitted to my fiance and I never heard back from her regarding any corrections. So, I am good to go . I guess the next step right now is call NVC to track your petition.Star -------------------- K-1 Journey
