We are a community dedicated to providing general information for everyone that may want to bring a family member or loved one to the US. Our community is filled with people just like you who are going through or have been through the same thing you are undertaking right now. It can be very confusing, but being able to talk to others in you shoes can often make things a bit easier!

So where to begin?

While our community has members immigrating from all types of family Visa's there are two categories that many people often fit into.

Immigration for a Non-US Citizen fiance(e) or spouse:

Visa Comparisons: An overview of the choice of visas available. This will give you some understanding of the K1 fiancé, K3 Spouse, & CR-1 / IR-1 Spouse visas in order for you and your partner to decide on which visa suits your purposes. It also includes an overview of DCF (Direct Consular Filing) and filing if your spouse is in the US with you already.

Other Family Members & General Immigration Benefits:

Immigration Guides: This section contains general guides for many benefits that your family members may need.

Having read or at least browsed though the above links, stop by the Forums. The forums are divided into categories based on the different phases of your journey. While you are there make sure to remember the search function at the top of every page. You may find this very useful to find general information from old posts in the forums.

An additional feature that you might interesting is the Portal Page where you can easily find members from your respective Country and even locally that are going though the immigration process themselves.

Finally, all members are encouraged to create a timeline on the site, which can be updated by over time. This will allow you to track your case as well as to compare it to others, while at the same time automatically generating useful statistics that help everyone! Also consider adding any major events to the board calendar. This is a great way to share your important events with the community.

One last note! To add/edit your settings and profile you need to go to ‘My Controls’ located in the lower menu bar of the Forums page. Here you will find everything relevant to your account. On the left hand side you will see a list of items that you can change/add/edit.
