Working Hours: Monday through Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 7:00 to 11:00am
Best Way to Contact Consulate: Call them. Although it will cost you $8.00 if calling from the US.

Issues a Packet 3?
Packet 3 Contains: The Consular Section does not mail Packet 3 to applicants, only mail Packet 4 (appointment letter and medical letter).
Issues a Packet 4? Yes
Packet 4 contents (if known): The instructions on the website are nearly identical to the packet that is delivered to Dominican resident. Since the mailing service (INPOSDOM) is not very reliable, you should follow the instructions below and prepare for your upcoming interview before packet arrives.

What forms should be send back to the Consulate? All immigration forms (see below), supporting evidence, and medical forms should be brought to the embassy. Medical results will be delivered to the Embassy following the exam.

For K1 filers, make sure you bring your 2 Banco Popular receipts, showing payment for Visa. Also, bring $80 on the day of your interview to pay for remainder of Visa balance, and up to $12.50 to pay for visa delivery after approval.

Also only the beneficiary is allowed to go inside the Medical facility. The wait could be several hours, so plan accordingly if you are bringing someone along with you.

How many Passport Photo's Required for the medical? 3
How many Passport Photo's Required at the interview? 2
Estimated waiting time at the consulate on the day of interview? Time varies. Most couple are out in 2 - 5 hours.
Vaccination requirements? If you are applying for a K or V visa, vaccines are optional. However, it is often more convenient if you are vaccinated while still in the Dominican Republic.
